Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing an order on www.ozmochocs.com. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

About Us

OzMo Artisan Chocolates (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a small artisan chocolate business trading as OzMo Artisan Chocolates, specialising in handmade and hand-painted chocolate bonbons.

Prices & Payment

  • All prices are shown in GBP and include any applicable VAT.

  • Delivery charges are additional and shown at checkout.

  • Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering via the payment methods available on our website.

  • Orders will not be dispatched until payment has been successfully received.

Delivery

  • Orders are dispatched Monday–Saturday, primarily via Royal Mail Tracked services.

  • Delivery times are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail, adverse weather, or events beyond our control.

  • Delivery will be made to the address provided at checkout. Please ensure all details are correct.

  • We cannot accept responsibility for late, incorrect, or lost deliveries due to an incorrect address supplied by the customer.

  • If you request delivery to be left in a safe place or with a neighbour, this is done at your own risk.

Letterbox Delivery

OzMo Artisan Chocolates are designed for letterbox delivery and are carefully packaged to protect your chocolates during normal transit.

Heat Sensitivity

Chocolate is naturally sensitive to temperature. We do not use ice packs or chilled delivery. During warm weather, chocolates may soften slightly in transit. This is normal and does not affect food safety or quality once the chocolates return to room temperature.

By ordering you acknowledge that:

  • minor softening or cosmetic changes due to temperature are not considered a fault

  • chocolates should be brought indoors promptly after delivery

  • we cannot be responsible for parcels left in direct sunlight, warm porches, or communal areas

If There Is a Problem

Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery if:

  • the product arrives significantly damaged (beyond minor softening)

  • the box is seriously crushed

  • the order is incorrect

We may request photographs of the chocolates and packaging to help us resolve the issue quickly.

Non-Delivery

If tracking shows delivered, we may ask you to check with household members, neighbours, and safe places. OzMo Artisan Chocolates cannot be responsible for incorrect addresses entered at checkout.

Product Availability & Condition

  • All products are handmade and subject to availability.

  • As our bonbons are artisan and hand-painted, slight variations in appearance may occur and are part of their handmade nature.

Shelf Life

  • Our chocolate bonbons are freshly made and contain no preservatives.

  • Please refer to the best before date shown on the ingredients label.

  • Best before dates relate to quality, not safety.

Returns & Refunds

Due to the perishable nature of our products, food items are non-returnable and we cannot accept returns for change of mind.

We will offer a replacement or refund if:

  • the order arrives significantly damaged (beyond minor softening)

  • the product is incorrect

  • the parcel is confirmed lost by Royal Mail

  • there is a verified quality issue

We cannot refund for:

  • minor melting or softening during warm weather

  • delays caused by Royal Mail after on-time dispatch

  • an incorrect delivery address supplied at checkout

  • taste preference or personal expectations

Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with:

  • clear photos of the product and packaging

  • your order number

  • a short description of the issue

Refunds are issued to the original payment method only. Gift recipients should contact the purchaser to arrange any claim.

Our chocolates are handmade in a kitchen that handles the following allergens:
milk, soya, gluten (wheat), nuts, peanuts, eggs and sulphites.

While we follow strict hygiene procedures, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of these allergens due to shared preparation areas.

If you or the recipient have any allergy concerns, please contact us before ordering. By placing an order you confirm that you have reviewed the allergen information and that the products are suitable for the recipient.

Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the products purchased and the delivery charge.

  • We are not liable for delays or failure to deliver caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text and images, is the property of OzMo Artisan Chocolates unless otherwise stated and may not be used without permission.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
